This is the self-portrait of a girl who cannot wait for her bread to be done baking.

About five days ago, my mother made the grave mistake of teaching yours truly how to make proper, yeasted bread sans the aid of a mixer. As of this afternoon, I am banned from making any more bread after this one, because I seem to be churning these babies out faster than my family could eat. She did help me dig into this poor challah with delight not five minutes after it came out of the oven, however.

Okay I don’t mean to alarm you guys but I appear to be fourteen again.

• 5 hours of sleep
• 12 hours at school
• 6 hours of crit
• confused by bread

It seems that every time I go out with this group of friends, stuff ends up on my face. No complaints.

I present to you my assignment of one hundred gesture drawings of a small, complex object.

Side number one, eighty percent complete, due next Tuesday. It’s really not as bad as it sounds.
